Steve Morgan – Steve graduated from Lewiston High School, Lewiston, Idaho, lettering in Basketball and Baseball. After graduation, he received a scholarship to pitch at Lewis Clark State College. Steve began his coaching career with Sockeye’s head coach, Larry Price, working with pitchers for the Boise Gems American Legion team in 1993-2014, at Boise High School in 1994-1998, moving on to Timberline High School in 1999-2015.
As a coach, Steve was able to be a part of eight American Legion Idaho State championships, four Idaho State championships at Boise High School and six at Timberline High School. He assisted in helping numerous pitchers move on to play in college, and at various professional levels.
Steve is a Physical Education teacher in the Boise School District, having just finished his 26th year of teaching. He is celebrating 40 years of marriage to his wife, Shannon. He has two daughters, Alyssa Williams (Trevor) and Sarah Keeney (Luke), son, Bryson, and grandson Morgan Williams.
